5 Memorable Celebrity Weddings
While the paparazzi may not stalk you, and you may not have $3.5 million to drop on your on your wedding day, you can still glean amazing ideas from the creative ceremonies held by some of Tinseltown's sweethearts.
Kim Kardashian and Kayne West
The latest newsworthy newlyweds, reality star Kim Kardashian and hip hop artist Kayne West, went all out for their spring 2014 nuptials in Florence Italy. Much of the day was immortalized through social media - both Twitter and Instagram were bombarded with photos of the big day, posted by the happy couple. Among the pics was Kardashian wearing her custom-made Givenchy gown and another was from the reception showcasing their almost-matching leather jackets with the words "Just" on his and "Married" on hers.
Victoria Adams and David Beckham
The famous Brit couple, soccer champion David Beckham and pop star Victoria Adams (aka Posh Spice) wed in 1999 at Ireland's Luttrellstown Castle. The two, who have long held a reputation for displaying some mega PDA, topped their wedding cake with a nude (minus some well placed ivy leaves) sculpture of themselves. Their tastes for extravagance also included a purple flag with the initials VBD (for Victoria, their baby Brooklyn and David) that was raised above the castle after the couple said their vows, and golden his-and-hers thrones at the reception.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt
Although their wedded bliss only lasted five years, at the time of their fairytale nuptials in the summer of 2000, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were Hollywood's "It" couple. During their Malibu ocean-side wedding, a gospel choir and four bands entertained the newlyweds and their A-list group of guests. As an added musical wow factor, Melissa Etheridge serenaded the crowd to the tune of "Whole Lotta Love". Fireworks illuminated the evening sky, offering the perfect final touch at the this nearly surreal event.
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake
Singer-actor Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel tied-the-knot during an enchanting ceremony held in southern Italy's Borgo Egnazia resort. Since guests had to travel so far to partake in the festivities, the bride and groom decided to make it a week long event. One of the hallmarks of this dream-come-true celebration was the original song Timberlake wrote for his wifey to-be - which he played on his acoustic guitar for her as she walked down the aisle.
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting
Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco and tennis pro Ryan Sweeting definitely started off the 2014 New Year with a....bang by joining hands in marriage. Most of the wedding was on the sweet and traditional side - including Cuoco soft pink Vera Wang tulle ball gown - with one exception: the wedding cake, which was hung upside down, connected to a right-side-up glittering chandelier. Sweeting still managed to get a slice of cake to smash into his bride's face.
