Because It's Your Special Day
Hello ladies. How is wedding planning going?? I know wedding planning can be stressful, but it is all worth it. All this time and money you are spending is worth the lifetime of memories you will have. If you are planning a Spring wedding I am here to help with some inspiration! Did you know that florals are a hot trend this Spring?? So make sure you add some in your attire and decor. We are seeing so many floral embellished wedding dresses in stores and on the runway. Designers are even adding florals to headpieces and jewelry. Shoes are also sporting the trend.
Spring is a wonderful time to get married. It is not too hot or cold. Flowers are in bloom, and mother nature looks so beautiful. Use nature as a great inspiration for your spring wedding. There are many beautiful nature backdrops you can use for photos. The venue you are getting married at might be lovely, but don't forget about local parks or historic buildings for photos. Double check before you go that you do not need a permit or special pass to take pictures there.
What about party favors! Lets face it, everyone likes to get a gift, it makes you feel good. Why not give your guests a small plant. It will go with the floral trend and it can also be used to make your venue feel a little more like Spring.

Dress Shopping is the most exciting part of planning a wedding. Brides love fantasizing about their wedding day. The number one thing they fantasize is the stunning dress they will be wearing. Lets be honest every bride-to-be starts looking at bridal magazines even before they are engaged. They fall in love with pictures and hunt for that dress. Alot of times the dress is not what they hoped. Their dream dress is more of a nightmare. It is dissapointing, but dress shopping always has a happy ending. There is a dress out there perfect for you! Some brides-to-be fall in love with the first dress they try on and some fall in love with the 20th dress or 50th one.
Once you have found your dream dress it is time to accessorize with headpieces, veils, jewelry and shoes. Yes dress shopping is a lot of fun. When your accessories are all chosen your dream dress looks perfect.
Your next task if finding a hairdo that ties the look all together. Weather it be an updo or you leave your hair down, it will complete your dream look and your groom-to -be will be blown away as you walk down the aisle towards him.

Winter is a great time to have a wedding. Most brides fear the cold weather, but I say overcome your fears and do it! It is the most affordable time to have a wedding, so all the money you are saving allows you to splurge. There are great trends this winter season. I have many favorites. The first being Sparkle! Winter brides are adding sparkle everywhere. Some popular areas are table cloths , center pieces and shoes. Have you seen all the amazing shoes with bling? Stunning!!
Another favorite trend is Faux Fur. Keep warm in style. Faux furs are a classy way to stay warm when you are taking your outdoor photos. Not only is the bride wearing faux fur, it is starting to trickle down to the bridal party. And why not? Your bridesmaids should look fabulous on your wedding day! They represent you.
Berry colors is another favorite trend of mine. I love the way the berry colors look against a brides white dress. Centerpieces are also using berry colors and actual berries for a more dramatic effect. I have to say the pops of berry in the centerpieces on the sparkly table clothes look absolutely stunning!
I hope you add some of these great Winter trends to your wedding and share your photos with us at Bella@bellabridalandheirlooms.com

Veils have been a wedding accessory around for ages. Recently brides have done away with this accessory. So the question is, do you wear a veil, yes or no? I guess it depends on the bride. Some brides like to follow tradition and some brides like to make their own traditions. I personally would say yes to a veil. I feel like the groom should be the first person to see the bride after she walks down the aisle. I also feel that a veil helps the bride stand out. It is her special day so she should not blend in with the guests she should stand out so she is seen all day long.
Today there are so many different veil styles to choose from. Cathedral, Bird Cage, and Finger Tip, are just a few of the many styles. These different styles cater to the many different looks the brides have. You can find the perfect veil for your bridal look.
Remember there are so many different companies that sell veils online. All online retailers usually buy from the same companies the store retailers buy from. So don't get tricked into buying a veil at the same retailer that you bought your wedding dress from. Shop around, I am sure you can find the same veil at a more affordable price. Happy Veil shopping!!October 13, 2016
Fall is a lovely time to get married. The weather is perfect, the colors are beautiful, and it seems like love is in the air! I got married on September 30th 2000, and I have to say it was the most beautiful day! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and love was definitely in the air. I wore a white satin Ines De Santos dress, and my girls all wore a burgundy colored gown designed by me. We all looked stunning walking down the aisle decorated in white hydrangeas. The girls held bouquets with the brightest fall colors, my bouquet was more romantic with different varieties of blushed colored roses. Our reception centerpieces was stunning! They were about 3 feet high and were decorated with beautiful flowers, fruits, and twigs all in fall colors. Today there are great fall trends for your wedding! Whether you have an outdoor or indoor wedding there are so many ways you can decorate to have the perfect fall wedding! I am including an inspiration board to this blog. I hope it inspires you to plan the most stunning fall wedding. Happy Planning!! Remember to go to our website to find the perfect accessories for your Special Day!
